The TDP Street Sweeper 1000HP 47RE / 48RE is built for serious high-horsepower street and race applications where the transmission is expected to survive hard launches, high boost, aggressive driving, and repeated abuse. At this level, we go beyond adding clutch capacity and reinforce the drivetrain with a full billet shaft package and additional performance-focused internal upgrades.

Every Street Sweeper receives the same detailed inspection, measurement, clearance verification, and assembly process that defines every TDP transmission. At 1,000 HP, the details matter—and every clutch pack, shaft, apply component, and critical clearance is treated accordingly.

The Street Sweeper utilizes our TDP Pro Shift hydraulic configuration along with upgraded apply components to provide the clutch holding power and positive shift control required at this power level.

With billet input, intermediate, and output shafts, upgraded clutch capacity, reinforced apply components, and a performance converter, this package is designed to put serious Cummins power through a 47RE / 48RE.

Full Manual Valve Body Option

The Street Sweeper can be configured with a Full Manual Valve Body (FMVB) for customers wanting direct control over every shift. A ratchet shifter and ratchet shifter stand can also be optioned for a complete performance-oriented setup.

FMVB, shifter, and installation requirements vary depending on the truck's model year and application. Contact Thompson Diesel Performance when ordering if you are converting from the factory-controlled configuration so we can determine exactly what components your application requires.

Important Notes

• Thompson Diesel Performance supplies this transmission with a 2,000 RPM stall speed torque converter.
• If a different stall speed is required, please contact us prior to ordering so the converter can be properly matched to your engine, turbo, gearing, tire size, and intended use.
• A $1,500 refundable core charge applies. The core charge is refunded once the original transmission is returned and successfully processed.
• Core must be complete and rebuildable to qualify for the full core refund.
