Our Tow Maxx 600HP 47RE / 48RE is engineered for trucks that work hard and pull heavy, delivering increased holding power and heat control without sacrificing drivability. This unit is built to handle higher torque loads while maintaining smooth, predictable shifts under tow.

Featuring premium GPZ and G3 friction materials, billet hard-part upgrades, and a triple-disc billet torque converter, the Tow Maxx 600HP corrects factory weak points and significantly improves durability in demanding towing conditions. Increased fluid capacity and upgraded apply components help manage heat and load on long pulls.

Ideal for heavy towing, work trucks, and moderately modified setups, this transmission is a reliable step up from stock—built for sustained load, consistent performance, and long-term confidence.

• Thompson Diesel Performance supplies this transmission with a 2,000 RPM stall speed torque converter.

• If a different stall speed is required, please contact us by phone or email prior to placing your order to discuss available options.

• A $1,500 refundable core charge applies. The core charge will be refunded once the original transmission is returned and successfully processed. Core must be complete and rebuildable.
