The TDP Weekend Warrior 800HP 47RE / 48RE is built for high-horsepower street trucks that see hard use during the week and even harder use on the weekend. It takes the proven foundation of our Tow Maxx and adds the converter and shaft upgrades needed for increased torque, aggressive street driving, and performance applications up to approximately 800 HP.

Just like every transmission we build, the Weekend Warrior receives the same level of inspection, measurement, and attention to detail as our 1,000+ HP units. Every clutch clearance, apply component, and critical internal measurement is treated with the same care regardless of power level.

The Weekend Warrior also receives our TDP Pro Shift Valve Body, designed to improve hydraulic operation, clutch apply, shift consistency, and overall transmission performance while retaining excellent street drivability.

Full Manual Valve Body Option — +$700

The Weekend Warrior can also be ordered in a Full Manual Valve Body (FMVB) configuration for an additional $700. This option is intended for customers who want direct control over gear changes and transmission operation for more performance-focused applications.

FMVB NOTE: The additional $700 covers the FMVB transmission configuration only. It does not include a ratchet shifter, shifter cable, wiring, switches, linkage, brackets, conversion components, or any other parts that may be required to install or operate the transmission in a vehicle other than the specific model year/application the transmission was ordered for. Any additional components or modifications required for a custom or cross-year installation are the customer's responsibility.

Important Notes

• Thompson Diesel Performance supplies this transmission with a 2,000 RPM stall speed torque converter.
• If a different stall speed is required, please contact us by phone or email prior to ordering so the converter can be properly matched to your truck.
• A $1,500 refundable core charge applies. The core charge is refunded once the original transmission is returned and successfully processed.
• Core must be complete and rebuildable to qualify for the full core refund.
